Materials Expeditor

This position will work to the production plan derived from the Master Production Schedule & coordinate with department Supervisors in the execution of manufacturing requirements to meet or exceed business plans. Must be a team player and interact well with a diverse workforce. Requirements: + Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring visibility of production and shipping timelines to the installation team. + Verify and confirm the bill of materials before shipment from the manufacturing facility. + Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and on-site personnel to coordinate project activities and schedules. + Monitor and track production progress linked with onsite project progress, identifying any potential delays and implementing corrective actions as necessary. + Ensure all project-related information is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant team members. + Assist in the development of project work plans and revise them as needed to meet changing requirements and project goals. + Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues that may impact project timelines. + Prepare and present regular reports on project status, highlighting any critical issues or areas of concern. + Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the job site. + Assist in resolving any issues related to production, shipping, or installation that may arise during the project lifecycle. + Other tasks/projects as assigned. I. Basic Qualifications: + Production scheduling, or a related field. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in project scheduling and tracking. + Proficient with Microsoft Office + Ability to work independently. + Collaboratively in a team environment. + Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address potential issues proactively. + Knowledge of the manufacturing industry, particularly in relation to production and logistics processes. + Valid Driver's License for driving/ travel purposes. II. Preferred Qualifications + Previous experience in management, engineering, business, or a related field. + Experience using scheduling and project management tools such as Microsoft Project + ERP experience, LN a plus III.
