We are seeking a professional like you to join our team and be responsible for regional activities regarding material allocation and monitoring along with export order management for the Oilfield Chemicals and Mining Businesses. **As a Materials & Export Management Specialist, you create chemistry by...** + Monitoring & managing stock levels based on inventory & delivery capability targets in addition to allocating products to customer orders and delivery creation. + Analyzing demand and supply information for the operational, tactical, and strategic plans and using data to navigate on-time delivery as well as establishing lead times and inventory turns and maximize revenues. + Coordinating with Product Management and Customer Service in case of shortages, coordination with import / third party suppliers. Active communication in case of foreseen supply issue. + Act as investigator for assigned non-conformance categories. + Proactively manage aged and dysfunctional inventories. + Participating in supply chain optimization initiatives. + Performing the operation and documentation processes of all export shipments in accordance with the customs regulations. + Key Communicator with Freight forwarder, Carriers and Warehouses to ensure order flow is smooth. + Order entry and/or check entered orders on a daily basis and proactively monitor orders. + Keep Customers, Business updated with regular information pertaining to orders and shipments. + Determining the problems that may be encountered in transports and work to mitigate or reduce occurrence. **If you...** + Hold educational and/or equivalent professional background in Supply Chain or Logistics. + Have effective communication and organizational skills. + Have experience in SAP (APO) and SAP R/3 COBALT. + Possess experience with MS Office programs. + Have relevant experience in export management. **Create your own chemistry with you@BASF** At BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
