Materials - Forklift
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** + Comply with all company, departmental and safety policies and procedures. + Ships all customer orders, as required by the shipper report. This includes knowing how to scan labels, the proper way to load trucks, completing the paperwork per customer requirements, and sending a proper ASN. + Receives material daily from shuttles/suppliers and loads the flow racks. This includes all UPS / Fed Ex deliveries for direct and indirect materials. + Loads tugger carts and delivers material to the manufacturing lines ensuring no shortages + Deliver skids of material to manufacturing lines utilizing a fork lift + Unload finished goods from manufacturing lines + Receives material into Mfg Pro daily, as required. + Completing manual packing lists and BOL’s, as required. + Supports cycle counts as required by the team. + Maintains files (paper and electronic) as required by this function/supervisor. + Completes service orders and service boxes as required by the schedule, ordering the correct amount of cardboard from the warehouse on time. + Assists with banding finished goods and other items as required. + Prepares small components for shipment, as required. + Ensures the finished goods are in their proper location, realigning as shipments are made, keeping them in FIFO order. + Assists with loading cardboard/plastic into compactors, ensuring that area is kept clean. + Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries + Complete all end of day activities, per instructions. + Any other tasks and duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS** **_Essential_** Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Data entry, math, and computer skills **_Desirable_** Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Data entry, math, and computer skills GKN Automotive is the market leader in conventional, all-wheel and electrified drive systems and solutions.
