In this role, the intern will gain valuable exposure to the complete raw materials development cycle, from sourcing and selecting fabrics and trims to testing and final approval, while supporting the team in meeting project timelines and maintaining high standards of quality and sustainability. The position offers a hands-on opportunity to learn intricacies of materials management in the apparel industry.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:
Enter timely and accurate data on PLM.Maintain up-to-date materials library and work continuously on its improvement and innovation.Assist with maintain "core" trim and fabric information in seasonal fabric charts.Assist in the creation of material profiles on PLMWorks with the Product Creation Team to define the needs of any new sources, based on the brand strategy, price/quality objectives, and new/innovative fabrics.Maintain fabric information specification sheets and approved standards for all active fabrics.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
