Materials Management Advisor

As a Materials Management Advisor, you will support the supply chain, warehouse, and maintenance functions and activities with the management of refurbishable items, both serialized and non-serialized. The position will also work with external uppliers/contractors to coordinate repairs and returns. Internal and external reporting from this position is key to provide information for maintenance schedules

Minimum Requirements:

Two years experience in logistics management with increasing responsibilities in various operational rolesPrevious maintenance experience is an assetPost secondary business or Supply Chain background preferredFluent in SAP, Word, and Excel

Key Accountabilities:

Work with Warehouse to maintain optimal inventory levels for refurbishable items. Work with external suppliers/contractors to monitor repair and cost progress on items out for refurbishmentProvide updated delivery date and pricing information to Procurement team for purchase order updatesMonitor inventory levels on refurbishable items to reduce maintenance/ operations riskMonitor payment status for external purchase orders to ensure Suncor is not deficient in their payment termsEnsure proper system status is used in SAP (MCRR, Broke location, SRFB, etc)Adjust work orders as required with updated statusMaintain and track serialized coresSet targets for core management (aging, number of cores in process)Provide weekly stewardship/reports to SCM and BU leaders to show core aging, progress, risks, etc

You will work out of our Edmonton Material Centre in Edmonton, AlbertaThe shift schedule is Monday to FridayOur business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
