MAIN FUNCTIONS
The Materials Manager Advisor provides expertise and strategic guidance in materials management, procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations for major projects. This role ensures the efficient planning, acquisition, and distribution of materials, aligning with project goals and industry best practices. Responsibilities include oversight of materials purchasing, expediting, inspection, customs compliance, inventory control, and field materials management at fabrication yards and construction sites.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, the Materials Manager Advisor:
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Extensive experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics within capital projects. Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, and materials handling processes. BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or Supply Chain Management preferred. Expertise in project execution, materials planning, and logistics coordination. Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites (domestic/overseas) as needed. Previous Owner/Operator experience in project management roles preferred.
