Title: Materials Management Assistant

Ingredion is currently recruiting for the position of Materials Management Assistant.  This position is responsible for coordinating and processing bulk rail and truck shipments to meet customer on-time/in-full requirements.

Your role will be:

Coordinating the physical transition of bulk railcars entering and leaving the plantCoordinating the physical transition of box cars set at offsite warehousePerforming GMP requirements training with all new certified drivers, in-plant workers, and  switching crews.Performing daily loading schedulePlacing orders and performing billing functions with railroadScheduling, monitoring to completion, and tracking Bulk and Rail shipmentsScheduling and monitoring to completion of in-plant work (car to car, vacs, etc.)Processing receipts of incoming rail shipments of PPO, Salt, ADM, and Hylon Bulk material returns.Entering daily rail car rebates and preparing monthly for processingReviewing and initially approving invoicing for monthly rail switching activities and in-plant work.Assisting with physical inventory count of specific itemsSupporting improvement initiatives to reduce cost and increase efficiencySupporting inventory performance improvements within the siteInterfacing with lab and scheduling teamsServing as a liaison between plant activities and customer serviceResearching and resolving customer complaints and assisting with quality complaints (pertaining to bulk rail and truck issues).Performing needed transactions into SAP pertaining to transfer orders, receipts, production  entry, and inventory management activities such as move tickets, cycle counting, etc.Serving as contact person for all bulk rail and truck issues, to include off hour calls related to issues that may arise.

Pay Range:

$50,000.00-$66,666.67 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
