Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of **Materials Management Specialist** based in **Barcelona, Venezuela, through January 13th at 11:59 PM.**
We are seeking a high-energy professional who will be responsible to support all activities and processes associated with Materials Management and Inventory at Empresas Mixtas Warehouses.
**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:**
+ Foster a culture of trust, engagement, and collaboration, both within the team, Empresas Mixtas workforce and other stakeholders.
+ Follow up in alignment with WH supervisors at EM’s to:
+ **Set Compliance with HES&OE procedures** making visible the **proactive measures** that the EM are implementing to maintain an IFO, emphasizing the commitment to HES & OE.
+ Securing **Infrastructure aligned w/Chevron standars thru a** collaborative support with WH EM stakeholders showcasing the joint efforts to enhance **warehouse infrastructure and operations** .
+ **Obtaining Technological Advancements thru Selected technologies** adjusted to the current warehouse conditions
+ Ensure **Inventory optimization aligned with business needs toward to p** reventing overstock and maintaining efficiency improvement plans and ensuring project task completed according with the plan by identifying areas of opportunity to drive inventory and materials optimization and warehouse processes.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor´s degree in Engineering or Business Administration, or Technical degree in O&G, Logistics, Engineering or Administration areas.
+ Must be proficient in English. Written and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Analytics and Proficient in digital tools (Microsoft Office, Power Bi, Power Apps, ERP).
+ Teamwork and customer service focus (Capacity to provide response to several end users).
+ Experience in material management process, inventory and warehousing activities.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 1 to 2 + years of experience in procurement.
+ 1+ years of experience in material management.
+ Experience with any SCM ERP system.
+ SCM Knowledge - Experienced with supply chain practices.
**Relocation Options:**
Relocation will not be considered.
**International Considerations:**
Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
