International is hiring a Materials Management Supervisor in San Antonio!

The Materials Management Supervisor role directs the development and implementation of activities in production areas to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
San Antonio Manufacturing runs a 4x10 production schedule (Mon-Thurs, 5:30AM - 4:00PM). This role will support production and may need to cover production recovery times including Fridays and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities Supervise and manage a team to provide support in daily production needs.Maintain and audit accurate inventory.Develop and encourage the team in growing within their career.Demonstrate problem solving resolution, root cause analysis and corrective action to resolve and prevent production interruptions.Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems.May assist with the establishment and maintenance of inventory control system.Develops and evaluates personnel to ensure efficiency of operation functions.Allocates staffing and coverage, foresee production issues and diminish downtime.Drive Safety improvements, behaviors and strong culture of safety in Supply Chain.Communicate across multiple functions including General Assembly, Quality, Engineering and other production departments in manufacturing plant to ensure production goals are met.Develops 5’s schedules and maintains 5’s in assigned stations.Plan and schedule overtime based off of tasks and production needs. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degreeAt least 3 years of materials management or supply chain experienceOR
Master’s degreeAt least 1 year of materials management or supply chain experienceOR
At least 5 years of materials management or supply chain experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
