Materials Management Workleader

As a Materials Management Workleader, you are integral to helping facilitate Cleveland Clinic’s mission of providing state-of-the-art healthcare. You will serve as the work leader while performing various duties to support the department. You will also coordinate resources for daily assignments and work schedules. 

A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:00AM – 4:00PM and 6:00AM – 2:00PM. 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Coordinate work schedules to provide coverage for employee paid time off and key activities. Departmental workflow and desk coverage for an assigned area. Supervise the department functioning and resources in the absence of the manager. Manage inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels of products. Meets inventory goals by managing tracking systems and acting as liaison to other departments. Analyze data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs. Monitor all areas to ensure product is being rotated first-in, first-out and expiring product is removed in a timely manner. Count and verify products in inventory and report discrepancies to upper management as necessary. Administer return shipments of products in case of any shortages and damages and communicate same to vendor. Participate on project teams to build competency, provide training, recommend improved processes and maintain documented processes and procedures. Assist the Site Manager/Supervisor with dashboard maintenance and compliance. Functions as a super user with regard to all SCM systems. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

High School Diploma / GED or equivalent Three years of experience in materials management, inventory operations or similar role 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Previous leadership or experience providing work direction Strong computer skills and experience with inventory tracking systems
