Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions, a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking a Materials Manager to join their team in Monroe, NC! In this role, you will manage our purchasing and inventory control functions as well as provide support to production scheduling on all material flow issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Your Shift:
1st shift; Monday – FridayYour Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performanceManage all aspects of material flowInterface with product line coordinators on the planning and forecasting of customer ordersMaintain control and accuracy over all goods inventories to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on-timeYou Must Have:
7+ years of experience in the fieldPrior supervisory/leadership experience in a production or warehouse environmentExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse softwareFamiliarity with safety regulations and best practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentEffective communication skills, both written and verbalThis location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA); all employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenshipWe Would Prefer:
Bachelor's Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related fieldExperience in a print/direct mail environmentAbout Taylor Corporation
