Materials Manager

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Lead, coordinate, and control materials inventory and issuing to work orders. Develop, plan, and implement effective delivery of materials to internal customers and ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash objectives are met. Define, handle & optimize all activities for making material & information flow; influence production planning based on requirements (products, quality, volumes and deadlines) in a cost-effective way. Influence to achieve inventory accuracy and audit rhythm with cycle counting methodology that affects purchasing execution. Lead purchasing to customer service levels, minimize PPV, support inventory goals, minimizing AP issues and avoid stock outs. Right size inventory levels as required due to demand shifts, inventory turns, substitute material shortages, forward-looking backlog, logistic interruptions, collaborating with upper management, production, scheduling, sourcing, and engineering. Champion effective and efficient mitigation plans to avoid production line shutdowns and stretch relationship with procurement team to develop flexible supply chains with driven lead times. Champion lean activity in direct support and relationship to facility lean direction and business need.  Further develop materials’ collective knowledge of facility through both control and influence. Anticipate material strategies to increase shipments driven by seasonality or specific demand situations

For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor Degree, Master degree or experience is a plus. Bilingual 90% At least 10 years of managerial experience in a supply chain, purchasing, or data analyst role. Manufacturing experience is preferred Experience in master production schedule management, inventory control, logistics and production scheduling production.           Availability and documentation to travel to USA    
 

  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Knowledge of MRP system, Oracle required. Sophisticated Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly, Excel and Power Point required. Power BI desired Proven track record to work both independently and in a team environment, organize and accurately prioritize work, be diligent, understand when urgency is required and use good judgment in multifaceted situations across a global organization. Strong mathematical skills and ability to analyze various data sources and translate into information. Oral and written communication skills to communicate optimally with all levels of the organization.
