Materials Manager

We are revolutionizing the way the world moves for future generations, and we want someone who is ready to move with us. **Who will you be working with?** Responsible for facilitating transactions, producing, assembling, and delivering replacement/ repair parts and equipment as part of a Services agreement **How will you make a difference?** Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping. **What do we want to know about you?** + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in a material planning capacity or service experience) + Prior experience in production control or planning, supervision, sourcing, or material control environment + Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities + MS Office Expertise on Access / Excel + Strong oral and written communications skills + Strong interpersonal and leadership skills + Travel up to 20% **What will your typical day look like?** + Responsible for material planning and inventory metrics for multi-year parts agreement. + Monitor the results of changes to the inventory plan/forecast and recommend modifications. + Plan for prevention of excess inventory and stock outs. + Work with all levels of personnel internally in resolving issues, tracking material availability, and advising on material usage; including duplicate usage, lost shipment, overages and missing material, trouble shoot oracle errors, help track material discrepancy, ECT… + Work with customers externally and internally to identify new opportunities to improve our current processes. + Returning repairable items to the repair facility and creating PO’s and setting up transportation. + Working with 3rd party shop doing the work to ensure inventory accuracy and core accuracy. + Creating forecasts for materials requirements, including estimating seasonal fluctuations in demand + Communicating with suppliers regarding order status and changes in delivery dates or quantities + Coordinating with other departments such as engineering and purchasing to ensure that materials are available when needed + Reviewing inventory levels of materials and ordering additional quantities when necessary + Managing inventory of materials by storing items in warehouses or distributing them to work sites + Making sure that materials are delivered on time + Preparing reports on material usage and cost trends over time May also include: + Lead Inquiry to Order (ITO) processes through Order to Remittance (OTR) + Deliver business sales, contribution margin, develop proposals; negotiate with customers; drive competitive pricing + Develop a year plan for its own department + Be involved in discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures, and ways of working + Contribute to plan of larger unit + Communicate across direct organization + Support diverse clients in a region + Follow frameworks to get through the processes, when there is room for negotiating and client specific conditions You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary. The salary range for this role is between $77,400.00-$110,300.00 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
