Job Description:
About the Role: Ensure that production supplies are purchased and received according to product specifications in a timely manner to meet the production schedule.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Plan and execute purchase orders with vendors for raw materials and supplies, confirming price and delivery
Maintain appropriate reorder points on raw materials
Develop and execute plans to meet inventory targets
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product is available for production, new product launches and promotions
Lead, assist and participate with TMOS projects as opportunities present themselves or as assigned
Maintain and keep updated MRP/ERP systems
Perform additions, general updates, and overall maintenance in SAP
Meet regularly with co-workers involved with the supply chain function to ensure that all supplies, materials, and products are ordered on time, shipped and received on schedule and within quality requirements.
Other duties as assigned.

Education: HS Diploma or GED.
Experience:
Previous experience in a buyer position
Good interpersonal relationship skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
