Job SummaryWe are looking for a new Materials Planner employee to be based in Warrington (UK)
What a typical day looks like:
Control stock levels in relation to product support lifecyclesMinimize “stock outs” to meet customer performance delivery targetsManage and minimize excess stock to target levels by identifying and managing the safety stock levels for each commoditySelect best method of forecasting and recommend purchases to achieve optimum inventory levelsIssue, monitor and report accuracy for vendor forecastsIdentify and report both internally and externally risk associated with product portfolio.The experience we are looking to add to the team:
A minimum of 1 year experience working in a Materials/Supply Chain planning role and in the usage of forecasting systems, such as Xelus or KinaxisAnalytical skills with the ability to identify a problem and finding logical solutionsAt least GCSE level qualificationA good understanding of business processes particularly relating to service parts planning, supply chain optimization, repair operations and reverse logisticsHigh level of IT literacy including advanced Excel skillsExcellent communication skills & good eye for detail to ensure data accuracyEligibility to work in the UKHere are a few examples of what you’ll get for the great work you provide:
