Rexnord Aerospace, a leading supplier in the Aerospace industry, is seeking the services of a Production Planner III responsible for the planning and execution of customer order scheduling at Regal Rexnord’s Aerospace Division. The primary focus is to align order requirements with operational resources through scheduling and inventory allocation procedures such that customer requirements are met in the most timely and economical manner. This position is responsible for the overall planning and consumption of inventory and capacity as it relates to the production plan.
This position is located in Simi Valley, California.
Key Accountabilities
Schedules and prioritizes jobs through work cells & outside operations to best meet On-Time-Delivery to Customers, includes prioritizing shop orders for operational team.Responsible for releasing production orders on time.Identifies problems or bottlenecks delaying critical jobs from completing on time, communicates possible solutions and follow through with the required persons to resolve problem.Meet/Exceed On-Time-Delivery shipment target for assigned customers.Meet/Exceed On-Time-Delivery creation of firm planned orders target.Manage level loading of manufacturing work centers.Become super user of ERP system.Inventory and capacity planning.Job Requirements, Capabilities, and Success Factors
This position requires the applicant to be a US Person with a US permanent residence. A US Person is a US Citizen or Green Card holder.Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Supply Chain, Business or a Technical field7+ years of planning experience in an MRP system (preferably in a high mix, low volume industry), although candidates with strong analytical, organization and communication skills will be considered.Strong proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Can perform mathematical analysis and pivot tables in Excel to understand key opportunities to improve.Project management and problem-solving skills, plus a willingness and desire to overcome a variety of constraints to successfully execute sustainable improvements.Must be capable of maintaining a level and positive attitude through continuous improvement culture change.Demonstrates flexibility when faced with frequent operational change.Must be able to root cause and initiate and execute corrective and/or preventative measures.ERP, Capacity Planning and Inventory Management experience.Lean manufacturing knowledge and practical application experience.Detail oriented and data driven.ERP Implementation & Business System Optimization (preferred).APICS certification is a plus.Expected Salary: $80,000 -100,000 annually.Please note that compensation is based on a variety of factors when extending offer, including but not limited to, the role, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, qualifications, and business considerations.
