What You Can Expect:

This role is an excellent and unique opportunity to advance in a challenging career at P&G by demonstrating growing levels of technical and leadership skills! You will be responsible for the managing of our raw and pack material alongside a portfolio of Reading plant initiatives from both our shave (Gillette) and beauty (Old Spice) care organisations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Management of all raw and pack material suppliers to improve supplier quality assurance, reduce stops on the production lines due to materials defects and process reliability loss to Operations, as well as validation of material and process changes driven by regulatory or cost savings opportunities.

Delivery of the initiative program at Reading Plant for Gillette and Old Spice including the technical and supply chain readiness of initiatives, identifying, communicating, and mitigating technical and supply-related risks.

Ensure initiative deliverables meet business needs and influence the strategic direction of the work to be done.

Collaborate with partners in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to identify creative solutions for technology development.

Develop a robust project technical learning plan, identify risks early, and ensure timely project execution with excellence.

Clarify business objectives, define success criteria, and communicate issues effectively to drive decision-making.

Job Qualifications

What we are looking for:

Strong project management and technical skills, preferably with knowledge of liquids making and packing manufacturing processes.

Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities across multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Strong leadership and partnership skills. Can operate and influence with sufficient independence to provide technical direction to the project team, and partner with multiple functions effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferable but not necessary - Experience in a manufacturing environment to verify the skills and application of them have prepared you for this role.
