A Materials Replenishment Planner will be responsible for procuring raw and packaging materials by converting the output of the ERP detailed schedule into daily/weekly materials requirements. The MRP planner will ensure availability of the right quantity of components to the production lines when needed; communicating the plan to the different suppliers within the agreed lead times. Optimizing the flow of materials, while considering plan warehouse capacity and inventory targets, eliminating potential disruptions in the storage area, minimizing both storage cost and potential SLOB will also be key to this role.

Key Responsibilities:Review purchase requisitions and delivery schedule lines including exceptions for 1st cut MRPLiaise with suppliers to clarify potential plan constraints and collaborate between supplier and the key internal partnersIntegrate feedback to generate 2nd cut MRPFinalize MRP and confirm quantities and dates, ensuring that all material delivery schedules are communicated to the suppliers on time in order to meet plan requirementsCommunicate/handover plan to MAKE for executionHandle potential abrupt deviations to the plan, assessing with the suppliers the feasibility of the changes and rapidly highlight to the affected internal partnersProvide material supplier input to the SOP process to allow for clarity of risks and opportunitiesLiaise with warehouse staff to understand and adhere to space constraints, maintaining inventory levels within agreed targetsCollaborate with quality assurance and warehouse staff regarding rejected/defective materials, making the physical arrangements with the supplier to ensure timely return of goods to disposal
