Job Description SummaryThe Warehouse Material Handler will be responsible for performing routine tasks to provide necessary materials to the internal and external customers in a timely and accessible manner within the Renewable Energy Warehouse, as well as maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Warehouse Material Handler you will:

Receive, pick, pack, & ship materialPerform audits/4 corner checks and develop ways to minimize shipping errors/ provide world class quality to customerMaintain a safe and clean work areaUnderstand and be able to explain Rack Locator Schematic, Sub Inventory Logic, Order Types and Shipping Matrix, Crate motorsExecute all tasks with unyielding safety and quality

Qualifications/Requirements

High School Diploma / GEDAble to work shift hours of: 12pm to 8:30pm, Mon.-Fri.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Ability and willingness to read, write, and communicate in the English languageBasic Computer Skills in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPointHigh Attention to detail and accuracyMultitasking abilities to drive critical issues simultaneouslyExperience in receiving, stocking and shipping product to end customerAbility and willingness to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 33 pounds as requiredAbility and willingness to obtain and maintain certification to operate forklift, order picker, and/or reach truckAbility and willingness to work with sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy and orderAbility and willingness to work independently and in a team environmentAbility and willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required

Desired Characteristics

Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or universityAbility to transact in Oracle and Warehouse Management SoftwareAdvanced Computer Skills in Microsoft Suite including Access DatabasesKnowledge of international shipping documentsExperience shipping Lithium Ion BatteriesHazardous Material Certification in DOT, IATA, IMDG, RCRAInterpersonal skills and the ability to lead sectionCrane rigging knowledge
