ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Materials Specialist is responsible for ensuring all materials needed on site are efficiently maintained & meet stated standards.

Responsibilities

Materials management into location Check for quality assurance on materials and submit quality reports   Pack and organize materials for manufacturing floor Track materials requests and make recommendations to leadership based on business needs Perform Physical Inventory checks as needed Confirm and update correct inventory Work with internal and external partners for materials in facility Daily site checks to maintain a well-organized area Update Production / Repairs / Maintenance area safety logs Follow safe practices related to the use and operation of equipment Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years old Experience in luggage/garment manufacturing preferred   Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jack with training.     Experience using a PC Basic math skills Detail oriented Safety oriented Ability to follow instructions, be a team player, and have a willingness to learn new things  Ability to communicate and understand English -- Multi-Lingual in Cantonese, Vietnamese or Mandarin a plus

Salary range:$27—$33 USD
