Materials Supervisor

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Storeroom Supervisor for our lumber manufacturing facility in Plymouth, NC.

As Supervisor, you will provide leadership in the storeroom and procurement activities to support the facility in achieving safety, quality, and production goals. You will also be responsible for supporting maintenance to ensure continuous process improvement and excellent manufacturing reliability. Relocation assistance is available

Key Functions

The following qualifications are required:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Minimum5 years' experience in manufacturing or supply managementAbility to research products/services by analyzing data and identifying cost effective optionsWorking knowledge of accounting functions (i.e. ability to complete purchase orders)Effective problem-solving techniques and ability to make process improvement recommendationsExcellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skillsCommitted to professional ethical standardsCustomer-oriented and focused (both internal and external)Demonstrated ability to raise performance by building and maintaining positive relationships with all associates through coaching, development and instilling a continuous improvement mind-setAbility to handle large volume of work, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, work under pressure and meet deadlinesDemonstrated computer skills to include proficiency in MS Office, CMMS, and other windows based programs and internet skills

The following qualifications are desired:

Leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentWork experience in a wood products and/or manufacturing environmentExperience in bidding, negotiating, preparing and administering contracts and agreementsExperience in Maximo, SAP or another computerized maintenance management system

What we offer:

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $66,703 – $100,055 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

We offer a pre-tax Health Savings Account option which includes a company contribution. Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3 weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
