Kellanova's Manchester plant is the home of some of our biggest brands including Cornflakes, Crunchy Nut, Rice Krispies and Coco Pops. We are looking for a Materials Supply Operator on a fixed term contract who will supply materials to our production lines and support the day-to-day production of the high quality products that delight our customers. The main responsibility of this role is to facilitate the loading, unloading, storage, and delivery of the appropriate production materials to and from the plant, all while adhering to Health, Safety, and Food Safety regulations. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Material movement and supply: Ensure the efficient movement and supply of materials to production areas using workplace transport, such as Forklift Truck and Pedestrian Operated Trucks. Operate plant equipment: Operate plant equipment to standard under normal running conditions. Maintain plant equipment: Operate and maintain plant equipment to standard, using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Operating Conditions (SOCs), and troubleshoot any deviations. Problem-solving and escalation: Perform basic problem-solving and escalate problems that require additional support to resolve. Book in materials: Correctly book in materials as they arrive after unloading and ensure storage in the correct area.
We’re Looking for Someone With
Current FLT (forklift Truck) License and Forklift driving experience within a Warehouse Computer literate skills with the ability to navigate computer screens and load information Attention to detail as you will need to review your day-to-day tasks in line with our production schedule, paying close attention to any promotional variances Strong collaborative skills, a team player who communicates well with others and is passionate about upholding the highest standards
