Materiel Management Lead
Overview ***This position is physically located in the California in support of LOGCAP.*** Supervises and leads a team in receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and disposing of Government Furnished and Contractor Acquired Materiel. Coordinates and supervises Receipt and break down of customer Materiel. Update MAXIMO transactions and verify accuracy of records. Supervise between 1-10 staff. Prepare and submit reports to the Cross Dock Manager providing detailed information on routine and special reports. Provide support to Cross Dock Manager identifying problematic areas and resolutions. #LI-TM1 Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. Supervise a team to accomplish provided tasks to standard. Count, sort incoming Materiel to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices. Update Materiel records in Maximo, IFS, and Oracle as required or other systems when necessary. Validate Purchase Requests, and MILSTRIP Requisitions, Track both inbound and outbound freight as required through various systems provided by Vectrus or the USG. Runs daily reports in MAXIMO for stock on hand and in transit to determine actions required. Ensures locations are properly marked, matched, and recorded in MAXIMO Supervises the transportation of supplies to other Programs as required. Responsible for Physical Security of Materiel under his/her control that are stored in accordance with all Army Regulations and local policy. Identify Excess Materiel in stock and request disposition accordingly Ensure Materiel is being maintained appropriately and identify for disposition Materiel with an expired shelf life. Prepare, read and analyze records and reports necessary to execute actions routinely. Must be able to access secure locations Receive, store, inventory, and issue Materiel/Property and maintain stock records in Maximo system and/or other systems as required. Prepares and maintains DD250 and DD1149 or Vectrus forms, processes Quality Deficiency Reports and Lost/Theft/Damaged/Destroyed (LDD) statements. Ensures all adjustment documentation, i.e. Administrative Adjustment Reports (AARs), Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPL), and Lost/Damaged/Destroyed (LDD) statements are accurately completed. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management; Logistics; Business Experience: 5 years of experience in Materiel/Property Management. Related Military experience in Supply and Logistics 2 years supervisory experience at the team level or higher Functional, comprehensive working knowledge of the Federal Acquisitions and Regulations for Materiel/Property Management Working knowledge of supply room operations and inventory management is required. Skills: NPMA, Certified Property Specialist or above Former Army Supply E-7 or above. Former Army Supply Warrant Officer Use of GCSS-A, or similar systems Materiel Handling Equipment (Forklift Operation, Pallet Jack, Hand Truck) Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills Supervisory Training Ability to deliver training on his/her area of expertise to the lowest level Strong analytical skills WMS experience with Maximo, IFS, SAP, Oracle or similar systems Customer service training Working Conditions: The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside. The worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level. The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals. The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation. Physical Requirements: Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
