Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an Maternal Fetal Medicine Attending opportunity at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Metropolitan Hospital is a community hospital located in East Harlem and has been certified as a Baby-Friendly hospital by the World Health Organization. The Staff is comprised of full-time faculty OBGYN Generalists, as well as subspecialists, including Urogynecologists and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeons. Metropolitan Hospital features a Level III NICU, state of the art Labor and Delivery suites, a dedicated Postpartum pavilion, and a AIUM certified ultrasound unit. On average, the OBGYN service has 900 live births annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with New York Medical College.

Responsibilities Direct MFM care to underserved, high-risk patientsInpatient and Outpatient settingMFM procedures (eg amniocentesis, cerclage)
Outpatient coverage of the MFM Sono Unit and ambulatory practice
Overseeing the work of the MFM PA
Teaching and mentoring to Residents and Medical StudentsAcademic affiliation with faculty appointment availableCall coverage for night and weekend MFM consultations (embedded in 40 hour work week)

Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $400,000* (board eligible); $410,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $613,600** (board eligible) and $626,250** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, fringe benefits, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $67,600***.Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
