Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer Specialty Job Responsibilities:

Develops, implements, and monitors performance improvement activities. Operates imaging and other related equipment according to manufacturers' specifications. Demonstrates creativity in section operation skills, decision-making skills and contingency planning preparation. Explains procedures to patients/families and answers any questions to ease anxiety and ensure patient cooperation Serves as a department reference for obtaining optimal imaging for interpretation/identification of anomalies within Maternal Fetal patients.

Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer Specialty Additional Requirements:

Work schedule: Full-time Dayshift  Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Degree from Accredited Sonography Training Program Licensure: None required Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS); Successful completion of the Inova Nuchal Translucency (NT) Program is required within 6 months for team members without the Nuchal Translucency Certification; Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Obstetrics & Gynecology Upon Start        Experience: Eight years of recent hospital experience or equivalent in a Maternal Fetal Medicine Group
