Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Math Graduate and Lab Coordinator for The Department of Mathematics & Statistics, Charles E. Schmidt College of Science - Boca Raton, FL.

This position supports the department administrators and graduate director.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Coordinating lab schedule for lower-division math courses in all department labs.

Assisting the department budget manager with graduate student activities, including travel, scholarships, student chapter, and outreach events.

Managing the graduate admission and application process.

Recruitment activities.

Communication with other university entities. (i.e. College administration, Math Learning Center, and Graduate College)

Record-keeping.

Compiling and analyzing assessment data for the graduate program.

Tracking graduate students' Plans of Study.

Credentialing.

Coordinating office space for graduate students.
