Complete Description:
The State of Delaware-Department of Transportation is looking to procure a contractual "Maximo System Administrator".
It is anticipated that this position would be a short-term (6-9 months) assignment expected to work a
37.5 hour work week onsite at the DelDOT Administration Building in Dover, Delaware.
The position will support the Maximo system on a day to day basis working with technical and business resources. This position requires someone who is able to work independently as well as in a team environment. We need someone who is experienced and self-motivated with excellent communication skills. The knowledge, skills, and abilities we are looking for are described below.
Manage Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System in a Maximo 6.x/7.x environment.
· Work with IT to apply, test and verify fixes/patches to Maximo EAM System.
· Support Maximo EAM System Upgrade Projects
· Identify and communicate Maximo EAM System defects to vendor and/or IT
· Support and maintain Maximo EAM System reports using BIRT; run queries and create ad hoc reports.
· Monitor Maximo EAM System performance; troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
· Support all Maximo environments, including testing, development, demo, training and production.
