Maze Supervisor-in-Training- $18.77/hr. ($19.27/hr. after certification)

Job Summary: This is a short-term position for a specific special event and period. The Entertainment Department is looking for a motivational team leader. Maze Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing maze operation, maze talent and/or Wage and Hour compliance. The individual must actively support goals, be safety minded and ensure that the maze operation maintains Six Flags and IP expectations.  

Reports to: Entertainment Sr. Supervisors / Entertainment/Wardrobe Full Time. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Overseeing Maze Performers, Ushers and Stage TechsAssist with Department and location specific trainingEnsure that talent is evenly distributed to provide the best Guest experience.Ensure that gags and stunts are being performed safely.Make certain that Intellectual Properties (IP’s) are properly representedMaintain Guest flow and safe operation of the maze locationMust possess strong leadership qualitiesModel guest service level that we expect of all employees.Hold all Team Members accountable for not meeting expectations or policy violations Oversee compliance with all company and Wage and Hour Compliance guidelines.Assist Guests with Guest concerns and resolutionAvailable to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.Require to attend additional Six Flags Leadership classes and complete the SIT program prior to the start of Fright FestWill be required to cross-train in other departments to round out supervisory training

Qualifications:

Previous leadership or supervisory experiencePrior performing experience is a plus18 years or older, and have a high school diploma or equivalentPossess a valid CA driver license Good verbal and written communication skills. Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Physical requirements:

Constantly standing, talking, climbing, walking, reaching, using finger movement, grasping, feeling, speaking clearly, hearing conversation, using hearing acuity, seeing near and far, stooping, bending, working in extreme cold, heat, sun, temperature change, wetness, humidity and working with noises over 89 decibels (with the use of hearing PPE).All lifts over 51 lbs. require assistance from a co- worker or the use of a mechanical device.Overtime of adults may be required from time to time in order to accommodate the business need.
