I. Job Summary
Assess growth opportunities for Waste Management and develop company and Area-level strategies, including extensions of core businesses and innovative next-stage opportunities. Work on multiple projects simultaneously, across a broad range of priority topics and involve detailed investigation and assessment of competing companies, industries and technologies. Creative problem solver who can quickly synthesize the critical components of their research. Interns will generally work as part of a team with a Sr. Analyst or Group Director, but may also work in larger, cross-functional groups such as finance, operations, marketing, engineering and legal.

3-5 years business experience (in addition to education requirement) Experience working with analytical models (financial, statistical, simulation, etc.) Experience conducting in-depth industry research, including financial conditions and industry trends. Must be available to participate in the 12-week internship program from start to finish (May 19 – Aug 15, 2025). Must be available to work 40 hours per week/standard working hoursB.
