Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.
The Work
This position is for a Model Based Systems Engineering Model Manager for the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) System. The selected applicant will be the focal point for managing the C2MBC MBSE modeling environment. In this role you will:
•Support the development of models themselves and become the focal point for model configuration management.
•Work closely with the C2BMC classified IT group ensuring the modeling environment is properly provisioned from an infrastructure perspective, properly backed up and archived (and restoral tested) and that all required Cyber-compliance activities are completed without impacting production
•Be responsible for developing, guiding, and managing integrations between the CAMEO TWC environment and other Systems Engineering tools such as IBM DOORs classic as well as other identified sources of certified data required to sustain the model(s)
•Become the focal point for integration with other modeling teams/environments external to C2BMC (e.g., Models provided/developed by other MDNT partner organizations) The model manager will also provide support to junior systems engineering team members to enhance skills in the department.
•Work will be performed under the supervision of the MBSE Lead and will require interfacing with other technical leads, product owners, C2BMC management, and government customers to ensure high quality products are generated on time and within the resources available.
•Reviewing the content and details of technical products
•Acting as a technical interface to MDA working level counterparts on an as-required basis
•Be actively involved in the efforts associated with Agile development including iteration planning and status

-This position requires a government security clearance.
-The role will involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

Basic Qualifications:
•A final secret clearance is needed prior to starting
•Developing or assisting with the development of modeling Style Guides and other MBSE standards to guide model development
•RBAC and modeling environment access management (TWC)
•Java/Groovy scripting to support development of custom plug-ins and other modeling tool customizations
•Managing server/tools in a classified environment including requirements for porting data between environments at different classification levels
•Familiarity with underlying operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Hypervisor environments
•Managing model federation, branch & merge operations, and other model Configuration Management tasking
•Delivering data products from a modeling platform using tools such as collaborator, VTL scripts, Webify, Tom Sawyer and other similar tools
•Cybersecurity concerns as relates to protection of National Security systems such as the application of STIGS, IAVMs and other information assurance processes
Desired Skills:
•Must have administrative experience with Dassault Systems CAMEO and Teamwork-Cloud (TWC) products
•Must have experience working with Pure Systems Pure-variants PLE; knowledge or experience administering PV/PLE is a plus as is experience with Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements (DOORs) classic
•Experience integrating DOORS and CAMEO via TWC Datahub is highly desired
•Should have a good understanding of general systems engineering management practices and tools such as Agile using Atlassian JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint
•Developing or assisting with the development of guidelines for model artifact development consistent with SysMOD and OOSEM methodologies

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
