We have a rare MC Driver opportunity in South Australia!

Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic red trucks to deliver for customers? As our Linehaul MC Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!  

This is a full time permanent opportunity attracting approximately $100K+ inclusive of allowances, shift penalties and rostered overtime. Also included is 5 weeks annual leave a year due to the rotational roster requirement.

You'll be

Safely loading your truck with cages for delivery  Completing your own daily vehicle safety check   Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups   Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups  Under general direction undertake duties associated with interstate linehaul services Adelaide to Nhill Change overs, loading shifts and general transport driving duties as directed


About you 

You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable, and love autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.  


You’ll also need 

A proven high driving skill level and a history of good driving and road safety, including a MC licence and demonstrated skills in driving relevant vehicle Proven compliance with the law regarding road safety and rulesA good understanding/knowledge of safety responsibilities and compliance with Australia Post’s OH&S policies and proceduresDemonstrated a strong quality and customer service focus, including sound relationships with both internal and external customersAdherence to procedures and processesDemonstrated ability to meet service requirements in a timely and accurate manner, including sound knowledge of linehaul operation and adherence to duty boards and transport proceduresBe aware of and comply with CoR legislationA proven knowledge and ability to understand and enact Fatigue Management guidelines and legislationA proven team player with sound communication skills, willingness and flexibility to take on different tasks and work as part of a group and demonstrated reliability in completing tasksEnsure a safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
