MCI Central Manufacturing Systems Software Development Engineer
Job Description

Manufacturing Control and Integration (MCI) team supports client-based Station Controller/host system in the factory; performing various tasks like maintenance, troubleshooting incidents, system upgrade, executing durable work and following through with the different support groups to resolve incidents.

We are looking for a highly motivated individuals that excel in working independently and as part of a team, to lead the way in delivering automation solutions for Intel's dynamic manufacturing environment.
As a Manufacturing Systems Software Development Engineer, your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

Integrates, tests, installs, configures, and/or supports Factory Automation software systems.Coordinates factory requirements, maps them to automation systems capabilities, and recommends technical solutions.Applies advanced troubleshooting to automation system problems.Drives continuous improvement efforts to meet automation systems health goals, as well as emerging capability needs.Serves as automation expert for a designated set of automation systems, including representing integrated needs in cross-functional and cross-site teams.Position may include some software development of related enhancements, supplemental systems, and/or support and monitoring tools.Work on a 24x7 day and night shift rotation.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related engineering fields Strong analytical and problem solving skills Has basic to intermediate programming skills - Python, C, C#, scripting is a plus Good interpersonal and communication skills A team player Resourceful creative and innovative in coming out with ideas to resolve issues Proficient with current IT technologies Ability to run shift

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
