**Responsibilities**
+ The MD, Trader role within KBCM is responsible for being a key player within the Institutional Sales vertical. The capital markets environment is collegial, fast paced, competitive and puts a premium on being well organized. Candidate must be capable of managing many projects/tasks simultaneously. A trader’s day-to-day responsibilities include attaining best execution for their clients, making well developed and thoughtful research calls to appropriate client trading professionals, marketing KeyBanc Capital Markets (KBCM’s) trading platform, conducting client meetings, and providing backup coverage for other sales trading professionals.

**Education Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree (required)
**Experience Qualifications**
+ 7 or more years experience on a Sales, Electronic, or Position Trading desk (required)
+ Excellent high level interpersonal and excellent communication skills (required)
+ Ability to develop relationships (required)
+ Understands the trade lifecycle (required)
+ Ability to exercise sound judgement and understand drivers of a high functioning trade desk/team (required)
**Licenses and Certifications**
+ Series 7, 57, 63 Upon Hire (required)

+ Strong team player with a positive can-do attitude and desire to be part of a close-knit group operating in an intensive and challenging work environment
+ Meets or exceeds individual sales goals and contributes significantly to attaining team sales goals.
+ Ability to work as part of a sales and client servicing team

+ Risk Management: Implements or manages risk management for own business unit and documents key steps of the risk management process and associated procedures

**Physical Demands**
+ General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.
**Travel**
+ Occasional travel to include overnight stay.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $200,000 to $300,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
