We are currently seeking a MDS Manager to join the MDS team!
Job Descriptions:
This position supervises the staff and manages all aspects of the MDS Department including, but not limited to MDS Coordination, Utilization / Case Management, PRI Coordination, Beneficiary Notice issuance/ Livanta appeals, Medicare PDPM Reimbursement, Medicaid Case Mix Reimbursement, and all denial management working in tandem with the St Camillus Business Office. Additionally responsible for oversight of diagnosis management/ associated coding for billing as it relates to reimbursement and MDS. The Manager will act as oversight and back up to the department staff’s responsibilities.

Oversight of the MDS process: Management of MDSNurse Assessor FunctionsQuality Measure/Strategic Reimbursement FunctionsOversight of Medicare Part A, Medicaid, and PDPMOversight of Utilization ManagementClinical Liaison to Diagnosing Coding, SNF and Ancillary BillingWill provide oversight to and at regular intervals report to supervisor identified department "key performance metrics" Analysis will be provided to trending and annually will work with supervisor to identify metrics/goals/targets to align to organizational goalsDepartment Staff OversightAll other duties assigned by supervisorQualifications:
Candidates eligible for this position must possess:
Must possess at minimum a valid LPN License with MDS assessor experienceSupervisory experience preferredStrong verbal, written, computer, and leadership skills required. American Associate of Post Acute Care Nursing RAC-CT preferred.Employee Benefits:
