MEA Senior Event Manager

You will be up-to-date with the latest event & digital marketing techniques, processes and trends, so that you can identify and exploit the most effective event marketing approaches to support & deliver Oracle’s vital face-to-face engagement opportunities. You will support & execute a variety of events for the MEA market and help them to be a strategic marketing tool targeting the specific audiences relevant to Oracle at various stages of the buying cycle. The successful contracting candidate is innovative and will have proven experience in planning and implementing successful fully integrated events & event marketing strategies, with clear measurements to highlight ROI such as sales pipeline impact and revenue. 

The candidate is numerically confident and is used to assessing marketing performance on a daily, weekly and quarterly timescale. Exceptional interpersonal skills are vital for this role as it acts as the key liaison between central and local teams. THE ROLE 

We are looking for a creative events manager to support Oracle’s Cloud solutions events across all lines of business and addressing all segments. With a strong focus on integrated event marketing strategies to attract and acquire net new customers, and engage & build relationships with existing customers you will be able to demonstrate the ability to further establish Oracle’s brand and to generate the levels of attendance and engagement needed to support the required sales leads and pipeline goals as part of truly integrated marketing campaigns. 

Plan, manage and execute or guide execution of measurable, integrated event marketing Support standardisation, optimisation and productivity improvements across all elements of event delivery  Act as a key connection to the MEA Field Marketing Team within Oracle whilst being part of the EMEA Events Team to create the event opportunities that contribute to the overall success of the business Monitor, analyse and report on performance of each event and communicate results and plan for improvement; check lead quality and sales follow-up, and action timely if required Requirements  Strong knowledge of events marketing discipline and integrated marketing especially multichannel digital marketing; thorough knowledge and practical working experience of a wide range of direct digital marketing channels from website, to search engine, to social media channels, to digital multi-touch and nurture campaigns to maximise event efficacy and impact Highly capable communicator able to manage internal stakeholder groups and deal with diverse opinions to still move projects to completion Strong business acumen, analytical competency and influencing skills Able to focus on the detail as well as the bigger picture  Demonstrable competencies in technology Marketing; experienced in developing and executing integrated marketing plans for technology companies based on business needs and with a deep understanding of audience generation strategies and segmentation for the complete buying cycle  Strong project planning and execution skills, with strong sense of project ownership and ability to anticipate possible roadblocks and provide viable solutions   Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask and manage time effectively, and keep schedules and projects in order and up to speed Experience of using current marketing and sales processes and systems, preferred experience with Eloqua and event automation solutions  Experience of working with third party suppliers and managing and motivating agencies to push creative barriers in communicating with customers  Excellent budget and project management skills  Excellent writing, editing and communication skills  Enthusiastic, open, flexible and extravert personality with strong drive and proven ability to perform in high-paced environment  Results driven (pipe-line driven) and team-work oriented  Fluency in English  University Degree required – with a focus on Sales, Marketing or Business preferred
