Measurements and Calibrations QA Engineer
We are currently looking for an experienced engineer who will participate in the process of regular measurements, verifications and calibrations of the laboratory equipment and referent sensors. This is important because we are working with a high-quality standard which must be always followed.
Part of the obligations will be daily data collection, post processing and reporting and will play a main role of preventive equipment maintenance by checking the internal procedure for
regular verification.

General Responsibilities
• Organizes designs, implements and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
• Key participant in planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution
• Organizes design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products
• Collaborates on analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary
• Develops methods for testing, sampling and training
• May act as internal consultant by providing technical guidance on most complex projects
• Works with quality inspection supervisors to train and oversee inspectors in their use of control forms, procedures, and correcting quality problems

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Responsible for calibration/verification process of devices used for measurements;Creating and developing procedures for calibration and verification of the equipment;Collaboration with external laboratories;Manage resolution of diagnostic calibration issues;Maintain a database with certificates and documents;Making the validation of new build equipment;Making statistical analyses, MSA, R&R, uncertainty budget;Taking a key role during the Laboratory audits – internal and external;Taking a part in maintenance process;

WHO IS THE RIGHT FIT FOR OUR TEAM?

Required background in metrology;Required experience in measurements - electrical, mechanical, temperature, pressure, etc.;Knowledge of statistical tools for data management and analyzes;University Degree - Technical engineering in Electrical Measurements, Electronics or Automation or similar specialties;Experience with data processing, analyses and metrics;Result-orientation with sense for urgency and deadlines;Work with attention to details;Teamwork attitude;Fluency in English;Good MS Office skills.
