**$19.00/Hour, Benefits on Day 1!**
**Monday -Friday 1st Shift**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Trim and customize portions of meat products using knives, band saws or other meat production equipment.
+ Count and stack on tray portions per desired customer and company specifications
+ Label portion with supplied number product labels
+ Needs to be able to read and understand cut tickets.
+ Set up cutting room as required
+ Keep cutting room and surrounding area clean and sanitized.
+ Must adhere to USDA Safety and Sanitation regulations for food safety requirements.
+ Complete miscellaneous other duties as assigned.
**SUPERVISION** :
The incumbent is not required to provide direct supervision for any position.
**RELATIONSHIPS**
+ The incumbent is required to interact with employees, customers, and vendors at all levels of responsibility throughout the company in a professional manner.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
**Work continually in a refrigerated environment 35F- 45Fdegrees.**
**Must be able to work for periods of time in freezer 10F to -10F degrees.**
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Kitchen prep experience and some basic knife skills
+ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
+ Ability to read and understand customers’ specifications and do basic math functions.
+ Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
+ Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
+ Knowledge of USDA grades and standards as well as food safety preferred.
+ Incumbent must have the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Finish time is when work is completed and could require overtime without notice.
**EDUCATION**
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
**PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS**
Job requires associates to occasionally sit, walk, lift/carry up to 10 lbs., and reach above shoulders; frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs., step, climb, balance, kneel, bend, reach turn, and manipulate products while continuously standing and grasping products.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $18.00-$19.00/hour.
