This position is responsible for cutting, trimming, boning, tying, and grinding meats to portion and prepare meat in cooking form.
\nEssential Duties:
\n\nCutting, trimming, and boning carcass sections or prime cuts to reduce to cooking cuts such as roasts, steaks, chops, stew cubes, and grinding meat\nCutting and weighing steaks and chops for individual servings\nShaping and tying roasts\nRecording quantity of meat received and issued to cutters\nPerforming other duties as assigned to meet business needs\n\nQualifications:
\n\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred\nTwo-three years related experience and/or training\nMust have the ability of using cutting utensils and running an electric pallet jack or forklift\nMust be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays\n\nPhysical Demands:
\n\nRegularly lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds\nFrequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds\nOccasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds\n\nCorporate Summary:
