Essential Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction and maintenance equipment such as highway trucks, asphalt plants, pavers, rollers and other various off road equipmentFollow manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures Engage and participate in Ledcor safety policies and procedures Complete maintenance records and documentation as requiredQualifications
You are a Heavy Equipment Technician from a recognized provincial authority Previous experience working with heavy civil construction and/or highway paving and highway maintenance equipment (i.e. snowplows) would be an asset Must have a valid Driver's License and ability to provide a 3-year driver's abstract Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testingAbility to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions which may be accompanied by sketches and diagramsMust have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervisionWork Conditions
Work will be based in Leduc, Alberta with some travel to various field operations on a limited basisApplicants residing local may be given preference due to the nature of workBenefits provided by CLAC (Health, Dental, RSP and Pension)Rates & Premiums
Will be provided a base hourly rate of $46.18/hour#LI-NC1
