A member of the departments operating team capable of independently performing all duties including using a variety of materials to make alterations, installations, and repairs to plant machinery and other equipment. Individual will be able to perform general maintenance duties in the following fields; welding, pipe fitting, pump rebuilding, hydraulics, and general equipment repair.
You will have the opportunity to:
Participates in the continuous improvement process by making suggestions to Supervisors and Leads.Ensures that all housekeeping requirements are met.Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles machinery.Moves, sets up, levels and rebuilds machinery; replaces and realigns gears, bearings, shafts, and seals.Troubleshoots and repairs hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, control circuits, and pneumatic systems.Performs pipefitting with steel, cast iron, stainless, copper, and other types of pipe.Performs nominal repairs on various style pumps.Fabricates structural steel and sheet metal.Welds and cuts mild steel and various other materials using both gas and arc techniques and welds stainless steel.Fabricates and repairs ductwork and associated structural steel.Troubleshoots furnaces, machines, and other equipment for needed repair or maintenance.Individual must know the plant emergency procedures for the handling and disposing of solid or liquid waste.Reads and interprets sketches, manuals drawings, and blueprints.Draws standard materials from stores as needed and obtains requisition through supervision for special material.Must work on and around moving equipment ensuring LOTO has been performed.Performs other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS:
Individual must have a High School Diploma or GED.Must be able to work independently or as a member of a team to meet demands.Individual may be exposed to undesirable conditions such as dust, fumes, dirt, close quarters, chemicals, airborne Be, etc. Must have 4 years of industrial maintenance experience or relevant military experience.Individual routinely may be asked to lift heavy materials, climb stairs, and may be on their feet most of work day.Must have basic computer knowledge.Must demonstrate mechanical ability.Must have good verbal and written skills.Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills to provide customer service.
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
