Adecco is currently seeking a dependable and skilled **Mechanic** to join our client’s Maintenance team at the **North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM)** —the largest surface coal mine in the U.S., located in **Wright, Wyoming** . NARM is a high-output thermal coal operation with more than 465 million tons of reserves and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence. As part of a dedicated team, this role will focus on performing **preventive and breakdown maintenance** on heavy equipment in an open cut mining environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Promote and uphold the company’s core values and safety-first culture + Perform inspections of work areas and equipment for hazards or damage + Interpret technical documents and specifications for repair work + Diagnose faults or equipment breakdowns and determine repair strategies + Estimate time and materials needed for job completion + Request/order parts and materials as necessary + Carry out mechanical repairs and component replacements + Maintain tools and a clean, organized work environment + Provide training or guidance to apprentices or new team members when required + Comply with all safety, environmental, and legal regulations + Perform other duties as assigned **Work Schedule & Benefits:** + Must be available for rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed + Benefits start on **Day 1** , including: + 401(k) with company match + Low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance **Qualifications & Experience:** + Trade certification and a minimum of **3 months of relevant experience** preferred + Ability to work in various weather conditions and shift schedules + Overtime availability as needed by the operation + Ability to mentor or train others is a plus **Physical Requirements:** + Stand or sit for up to 4 hours per shift + Work from heights and climb ladders/stairs or equipment + Frequently lift 10–50 lbs. without assistance + Wear required PPE including hearing, eye, and footwear protection + Perform repetitive hand/wrist motions and demonstrate strong reflexes and coordination + Work in harsh environmental conditions, including dust, mud, noise, confined spaces, and varying lighting + Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays If you're a hands-on problem solver looking to grow your career in a top-tier mining environment, **apply today with Adecco** to take the next step! **Pay Details:** $30.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
