**Heavy Equipment Mechanic** **Job Description** Join our team as a Mechanic and start your day with a 7am safety meeting. You will receive your daily work orders from the shop supervisor and review intake forms and repair sheets with the lead. Your responsibilities will include performing daily general inspections, preventive maintenance (PMs), and repairs. When not engaged in typical mechanic operations, you may be required to perform basic labor tasks, which can involve extensive physical activity. Safety training and expectations will be a key part of your onboarding process. Applicants must possess all required Class I Mechanic hand tools. **Top Skills** + Mechanical + Hydraulics + Diesel + Electrical + Diagnostics + Troubleshooting **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Commerce City, Colorado. **Work Environment** You will be working in a small shop environment with a current team of 4, which will eventually grow to a full team of 6. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm, with voluntary overtime and Saturday work available. Most work weeks are about 48 hours.
