GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: + Maintain safe and compliant equipment in accordance with RSP-1308 and all other Marathon governing documents. + Repair, maintain, troubleshoot and analyze all mechanical equipment pertaining to the facility, while providing leadership, training, and guidance to others + Cutting, drilling, grinding, threading, installing piping/tubing and assisting with preventative maintenance assignments and other duties as assigned. + Must be able to effectively and consistently use precision tools and accurately document measurements + Work as a team member with mechanics and other crafts at the refinery + Responsible for coaching and mentoring of co-workers while keeping a positive attitude and workplace + Maintain and submit documentation for accurate record keeping of equipment repairs + Maintain proper housekeeping in the shop, crane, trucks and at jobsite + Strive for Zero reworks due to workmanship or avoidable material issues + Be an active part of a culture that promotes ethical practices and legal compliance, encourages customer service, individual integrity, safety, teamwork, employee innovation and accountability + Strive to be proficient with SAP + Must be willing to climb ladders, work at heights and in confined spaces while wearing full face or supplied air respirator + Must be willing to champion any assigned jobs/duties + Obtain and keep current NCCCO Crane Operator certification + Keep all computer-based training up to date and complete all assigned ECT modules + Positively engage in morning toolbox and safety meetings + Keep non-work-related cell phone and other distractions to a minimum + Participate in call outs and able to work nights, weekends, holidays and work over as needed to support the refinery + The hours of the position are 4/10’s with occasional overtime, callouts and Turnaround support MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + GED or High School Diploma + Must have a valid Alaska State Driver’s License + Driving record with no major infractions + 3-years of rotating equipment maintenance experience preferred + Must be able to pass physical requirements + Must have or be able to obtain a valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card PAY & BENEFITS: $31.98 - $63.74 based on qualified experience.
