We’re looking for a Mechanic. Can you picture yourself here?You’d be responsible for:Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and repairs on a variety of large and small engines.Provide reports and information on equipment status.Sharpen blades and maintain small engine components.Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely at all times.Oversee, manage, and lead laborers in shop-related tasks.Transfer equipment between local branches as needed.Maintain a clean and orderly shop environment.Physical RequirementsWork 8+ hours per day, 5 days per week (some overtime and weekend work required).Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods.Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day.Work near direct automotive traffic and natural bodies of water as needed.Education and ExperienceMinimum 3 years’ experience in equipment operation and maintenance.Supervisory experience required.Valid driver’s license required.Minimum 2 years’ experience in basic truck and vehicle maintenance and repair.Preferred QualificationsWhile not mandatory, the following skills and experience are a plus:Small engine and 2-cycle engine experience.Diesel engine, heavy and light equipment maintenance.Bilingual (Spanish/English).Welding experience.Work EnvironmentCombination of indoor and outdoor work environments.Fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere.
