Inspect generators on a regular basis to ensure efficient operation by correct maintenance actions.
Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on mechanical distribution boards and generators.
Diagnose mechanical and mechanical malfunctions; install, replace or repair damaged equipment; calibrate controls.
Diagnose faults on mechanical installations in machinery and equipment.
Inspect and observe installations and make good repairs when located.
Maintain the generator control systems.
To maintain the buggies as per the scheduled preventative maintenance program each month.
To ensure that all vehicles are turned down to speed 2 at all times unless directed by the Director of Engineering.
To maintain a par stock of buggy batteries, motors, controllers and other essential parts at all times.
To service on a regular basis the Suzuki trucks and scooters for the other departments and Security scooters
To ensure that all records on the buggies and generators are maintained correctly at all times.
Adjust and maintain internal mechanical and electronic control systems; clean coils and blowers and check motors and belt tensions.
Assist in planning and designing new installations for mechanical systems.
Maintain records and write reports.
Supervise and work alongside staff and contract staff as needed to satisfy a complete and satisfactory product.
Respond to public inquiries in a courteous manner; provide information within the area of assignment; resolve complaints in an efficient and timely manner.
Estimate time, materials and equipment required for jobs assigned; requisition materials as required.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as required
The ability to assist in providing mechanical repair and maintenance to motors, starters, breakers and associated equipment throughout the entire building.
The ability to assist in socket repair and replacement.
The ability to assist in installing mechanical wiring for renovations, mechanical outlet additions, motors and associated equipment.
The ability to assist in providing mechanical set-ups for exhibits and conventions including maintaining mechanical equipment for exhibits.
The ability to assist in providing preventive maintenance of all mechanical/mechanical/plumbing equipment and updating of appropriate logs.
The ability to clean all stations in Engineering and maintain a neat and organized department.
Complete work orders in the correct time and standards.
The ability to respond to all guest complaints regarding the maintenance of their room or public area in a timely manner.
The ability to assist in performing preventive maintenance in guestrooms and public areas.
The ability to assist on all plumbing stoppages and repairs in the resort
The ability to repair an assortment of items brought to the shop by other departments.
The ability to assist in cleaning grease traps, filters and drains and other equipment/areas as necessary.
The ability to assemble desks, shelving, cabinets, etc. as assigned.
The ability to assist Shift engineers on major shut downs for repairs.
The ability to maintain logs for all work performed while on duty within department and those in other departments as they apply to Engineering Repairs.
The ability to assist in installing or relocating any additional or existing equipment when necessary.
The ability to take meter readings, record temperatures, record into PM charts/logs, and pressures in heating and cooling plant.
The ability to respond to work orders or room inspection reports submitted by Department Heads.
The ability to respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
The ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels.
The ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed.
The ability to ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.
The ability to report any damages observed within the Resort area, whether it be guestroom, public areas or any employee housing units through the Engineering reporting systems in place. Reporting to be done within one hour of discovery.
The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
The ability to carry out any work orders given by senior management or Engineering management in a timely and correct manner.
To perform their duties as quickly as possible and pay attention to details to ensure that Four Seasons standards are maintained at all times.
To maintain their tools and equipment in excellent condition at all times and report any damage or breakages to Engineering management.
The ability to work on any of the systems or equipment within the resort and maintain and clean as instructed by senior management and Engineering management.
