To continue laying the groundwork, challenge what's possible and celebrate the power of inclusion, we seek to partner with driven individuals who are ready to elevate their career with us. *SUMMARY: *Responsible for maintenance repairs on all trailers, containers, and chassis OR responsible for all maintenance repairs for all self-contained refrigeration units. *GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: *Conduct regular on-site inspections of trailers, containers, chassis, and other related equipment to determine needed repairs. Troubleshoots and makes appropriate repairs, including electrical and brake systems, landing gear, suspension, tires, and wheel group OR Conduct regular on-site inspections of refrigeration and electrical circuitry for various units and other related equipment to determine needed repairs. Troubleshoots and make appropriate repairs to diesel engines and generators. *PAY:* Starting rate of $29.94/hr. to full rate $37.42 *HOURS:* TBD**Willingness to work overtime. */Comprehensive benefits include fully funded health, dental, and insurance, a pension plan, and a company-paid savings program!/* *Trailer Mechanic:*Must have verifiable Trailer Mechanic work experience, specializing in Trailer & Container repairs and be able to furnish references from former employers specializing in chassis & trailer repair. OR *Refrigeration Mechanic:*Must have four (4) years of verifiable experience in maintenance and repair of self-contained refrigeration units including troubleshooting and experience with Micro Processing units. Must have working knowledge of refrigeration and electrical circuitry for Thermo King and Carrier Micro Processing thin line containerized unites including wiring diagrams and schematics. EPA type 2 or Universal certified to service transport refrigeration equipment prior to employment is essential. *TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY:* Must be able to read, understand and work from service directives and technical instructions. Carry the ability to enter all work into a maintenance system using an electronic device. Will be accountable for meeting proficiency, safety, and quality requirements. *OTHER:* Must have a toolbox with lock and an adequate supply of personal hand tools for use in accomplishing the above repairs. All tools must be of good quality and available for inspection prior to employment. Crowley provides torch sets, gauges, and vacuum pumps. Must be able to document all work performed into a mobile electronic tablet (tablet provided). Must have legible penmanship.
