Company Overview Canyon Midstream Partners, LLC CMP is a rapidly growing independent midstream company that provides gathering, treating, processing, transportation and marketing services. CMP currently operates natural gas gathering systems and processing facilities serving producers in the Permian Basin, east Texas and the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale and a FERC regulated transmission line in Matagorda County, Texas. Additional information can be found at www.canyonmidstream.com. Job Description The mechanic will be the primary mechanic at the Trinity River gas processing facility. Primary responsibilities will be the maintenance, troubleshooting, and general housekeeping of 5 natural gas engine driven compressors and 2 electric driven compressors. Mechanic will be responsible for compression performance and will work directly with engineering and operations to optimize equipment. Job requirements will also involve preventative maintenance, repairs, and minor overhaul work on plant pumps, cooling fans, and other rotating equipment. It is expected that the mechanic will become familiar with and support plant operations. It is further expected that the mechanic will in turn train and utilize operations personnel on maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
