LOCATION:

Crown is building a brand new manufacturing facility in Mesquite, NV This state-of-the-art facility will manufacture specialty beverage cans for some of the top consumer product companies. We are in the process of assembling a world class team of individuals to operate this facility and are looking for Mechanic-LSM (Lacquer Spray Machine).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is in the training program and will be required to complete a 3,000-hour training program to be fully qualified as a LSM Adjuster/Oven watcher.  Extensive on-the-job training (OJT) will be provided.  Responsibilities include: 

Observe, maintain, adjust, clean, remove cans and make minor repairs to automatic lacquer spraying machines and related equipment as required to maintain standard quality and quantity production on assigned equipment.  Start/stop lacquer room equipment, including pumps, vibrators, exhaust fans, etc. Set up and adjust all spray room equipment when necessary. Detect and remove defective cans by visually examining production flow.  Remove all jams from assigned equipment. Lubricate assigned equipment as required. Start up and shut down ovens. Place lacquer waste materials into proper containers. Maintain checklists, lubrication lists or other related records as required. Receive and offload tanker trucks.  In addition to performing maintenance duties, concurrently maintain and/or operate equipment as assigned.  This person will have primary responsibility for safety in all areas of the assigned duties.  Performs other related duties as required.
