Essential Functions + Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skills are required. + Knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, engine, transmission, and A.C systems. + Operate and inspect heavy equipment to diagnose defects. + Read and understand repair, operators, and troubleshooting manuals and schematics. + Must fabricate and weld. + May perform other duties as assigned by Superintendent. Job Requirements and Qualifications Education: + High school diploma or GED. Training Requirements: + Trans Ash will provide necessary safety training for the job. Experience: + Must have 5-10 years of experience. Other information: + Must have own tools. + Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, operate vehicles and small equipment. + Must be able to work in a construction environment. + Must have a valid driver’s license. + Be at least 18 years of age. + Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
