Responsibilities Routine preventive maintenance of fleet vehicles at assigned intervals. Generating repair orders with computerized maintenance management system. Order parts, tracking parts inventory and maintaining vendor relationships. Coordinate small tool repair. Documentation of PM reports & equipment repair logs. Hydraulic and engine repairs. Air brake repairs. Chassis repairs. Repair of construction type fleet equipment and vehicles. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Qualifications Requires experience repairing diesel engines and hydraulic systems Requires experience repairing air brakes; certification is preferred but not required Aerial device experience a plus Must have at least 5 years’ experience working as a mechanic Valid driver license Must be able to travel 50% of the time to other work sites.
